Gospel singer unveils her new clothing line
Fashion lovers were treated to a collection of wonderful designs, during the launch of gospel singer Nonhlanhla (Noni) Mdluli’s new clothing label, called Nstar Creations, in Boksburg on Saturday, November 30 .
The fashion show, which was well attended, featured different varieties of clothes, that demonstrated how Noni’s fashion line has evolved in a short space of time.
The women’s outfits were all designed by Noni, the founder of Nstar Creations.
Models hit the runway in style as they displayed different collections for women.
Many know Noni as the former lead singer of Joyous Celebration and wife to television personality and gospel singer Thabo Mdluli.
Having started her career in music, Noni recently told the Advertiser that she always knew that she wanted to be a fashion designer.
“I am a fashion design student now, but I’ve worn many of my own designs during my musical performances,” she said in a recent interview with the Advertiser.
The vibrant and ambitious woman said she has designed the kind of line that young, middle-class, professional women would want to wear.
“My design’s can be defined as simplistic, yet elegant and, most importantly, affordable,” she said.
Nstar Creations is not only selling a line, but is offering consultations and helping women find a personal style.
