The event will celebrate the life and legacy of the liberation hero and will see South Africa’s top 10 choirs battling it out on stage for a R250 000 prize.
According to Sam Modiba, metro spokesperson, various local choirs have been invited to entertain audiences on the night of the festival.

* Kopano Chorus – Gauteng
* Thabong Serenade – Free State
* Belcanto Voices – Free State
* Transnet Port Terminal Choir – Eastern Cape
* Heavenly Voices – Western Cape
* SA Singers – KwaZulu-Natal
* Clermont Community Choir – KwaZulu-Natal
* African Chorus – KwaZulu-Natal
