Community members can look forward to Die Skatkis concert at the Gereformeerde Kerk in Benoni on October 12.
The concert, presented by the Geformeerde Kerk Boksburg, in conjunction with Major Music Productions, with Jannie du Toit, Chanie Jonker and Susan Mouton, is certainly an event not to be missed.
Attendees can relax with family and friends and enjoy beautiful music, lovely stories and delicious food.
The concert is held to raise enough funds to host the Sisters Gathering in 2025, which will be hosted by Geformeerde Kerk Boksburg.
The sisters of the Gereformeerde Kerke/Reformed Churches on the East Rand have an annual sisters gathering.
This is a wonderful opportunity for them to connect with each other, support each other, sing together, share a breakfast and/or lunch together and listen to a motivational speaker and guest performers. Most importantly, the sisters share how they can make a positive difference in the community. It is very well attended each year and has become quite a big event over the years.
Gerformeerde Kerk Boksburg will aim to host a beautiful, inspiring and meaningful gathering to send the sisters of its neighbouring churches home filled with wonderful memories, hope, joy and the strength to go and make a difference.
