St Dom’s majorettes shine with SAMCA colours

The coaches said the majorettes’ dedication and commitment ensured this moment of triumph.

St Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls congratulates its Saints and Saintees, who recently received SAMCA colours for majorettes.

SAMCA is the South African Majorette and Cheerleading Association and the official South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC)-recognised Olympic body.

An announcement on which of these girls will form part of the Protea Team, which will compete in the WMF (World Majorette Foundation) World Championships (Cape Town, September), will be made within the next month.

Coaches Alisha Venter, Matthew Higgs, Natalie Brink and Zoe Pretorius congratulated the learners.

“Your dedication and commitment have brought you to this moment of triumph, achieving your South African majorette colours. Your journey exemplifies the power of perseverance and hard work. May your success be a beacon, inspiring others to reach for their dreams. As you wear your colours, embrace the responsibility of being a role model, leading with grace, humility, and a true saint’s spirit. May your journey continue to inspire those around you.
