CBCOB aims to win against Delfos

CBC Old Boys that’s in the top five in the first quarter of Eastern Cricket Premier league was beaten by North West University (NWU) by 163 runs in the Club Super League on home soil on November 26.

A batsman of NWU, Senuran Muthusamy, who is also a former player of the Proteas, kept bowlers of CBC Old Boys on their toes with exceptional strikes. He smashed 105 runs not out from 102 balls.

The bowlers of CBC Old Boys Boksburg didn’t disappoint. They managed to pull stunning bowling performances. Zander Lubbe scooped 4/57 in 10 overs while Robert Mutch finished with 0/31 in nine overs.

WP Myburgh made 31 (66) with Michael Weldon getting 20 (13).

Boksburg outfit will be looking to redeem itself when takes on Delfos Cricket Club in December.
