The learners are confident they will do well in the exams.

“I think I did well. I’m aiming for a distinction and have peace of mind that I did my best. I studied hard,” said matriculant Damian Kruger.

Caleigh Potgieter is also positive about the exams.

“It was a little bit long, but I focused on the comprehension test.”

Reese Clark is positive that she will ace the test.

“The test went extremely well. There was not something I struggled with and there was a lot of information. I never knew I could learn so much about Vaseline. It was interesting.

“The most difficult part of the exam was the comprehension part of the test. I had to read it three times.”

Clark says she feels positive about the rest of the final exams.

This publication asked Hoërskool Oosterlig principal Francois Nel how the first day of the exams went at the school.

“Everything went according to plan, and there were no hiccups.”
The school has 175 matriculants.
