Exhilarating action in the veteran cricket matches

There are more veteran cricket matches to take place on upcoming weekends.

Thrilling cricket encounters took place on a sunny day at the Christian Brothers’ College cricket field on August 27.

During these encounters, round two of the East Rand Veterans Cricket League has concluded.

Two teams managed to impress with good records which are the KPCC Renegades and Kempton Rebels, boasting two wins.

The Benoni Sabres and Scimitars cruised through a victory, snatching their maiden wins along with those precious bonus points.

A batsman for Springs Old Boys hit the ball wide.

Brett Luck was awarded man of the match in the Kempton Rebels and Springs Old Boys match, with 51 runs from 26 balls. Roland Braun from Benoni was also awarded man of the match in the Benoni Scimitars and the Alberton Old Boys match. He scored 54 runs from 55 balls.

There are more cricket matches that will be taking place in the upcoming weekends.
