Supermarket in Cason robbed, shots fired
Shots were fired, but nobody was injured in the robbery.
Robbers got away with four cellphones, cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of money during an armed robbery at Cason Supermarket on May 17.
Boksburg North SAPS station commander Mack Mngomezulu explained that five armed robbers entered the store and took the items.
A shootout ensued between the robbers and an armed response company. Nobody was injured.
The robbers escaped in a white VW Polo.
Police are investigating a case of business robbery.
