Katlehong North SAPS was beaten 5-2 in the police soccer league

The Boksburg North SAPS football team beat Katlehong North SAPS 5-2 at the Boksburg City Stadium on April 26.

This secured a second spot for the local team in East Rand Police League.

Plenty of action in the game between Boksburg North and Katlehong North SAPS.

Katlehong set the tone with a goal in the first 20 minutes. The home team felt no pressure and retaliated with a goal of their own.

Makhubela Hlulani fired up the home team by scoring the second goal.

Katlehong, trailing by halftime, gained momentum with a few counterattacks and scored a goal after the break.

This was not enough to derail the home team who scored two more goals.

“I had absolutely no doubt that we will win. We are very well trained and possess all the capabilities to win the league. We need to practice more and take it one game at a time,” said the Boksburg North coach, Andrew Mpati.
