Chris Chizhande: I will go to church on Easter weekend. All my friends call me a pastor because I value and love church. Easter is a beautiful holiday for me.

The Boksburg Advertiser asked locals how they plan to celebrate the Easter weekend.

Arthur Marang: I’m just going to chill with my friends and family. I’m a Christian as well so this Easter holiday means a lot to me.

Charles Peens: We will celebrate Easter at home, perhaps have a braai with my family. We want to avoid the roads because of the increased road accidents during this period.

Dion van Vyk: I’m going to celebrate Easter weekend at home with my wife. It’s going to be just the two of us because our children and grandchildren stay far from here.

Fundile Sobantwana: I’m going to visit my family in KZN to spend time with them. For me, it is the right time to check on them because I spend most of my time at work throughout the year.
