Mrs South Africa semi-finalists Zelda van den Bergh and Caitlin Chetty had a day to remember during Mrs South Africa empowerment workshops on March 25 at Emperors Palace.
The Benonians were among the 820 women at the event, which was followed by the annual Women’s Breakfast on March 26.
They are among the women vying for the Mrs South Africa crown, which was won by Palesa Matjekane last year.
Zelda said she will forever cherish the education she received at the event.
“It was an amazing weekend spent with my fellow sisters and all the guests. We all were unique and individual, but we are a sisterhood.
“The inspiration, motivation and empowerment taken away from this event will be cherished forever,” she said.
Caitlin explained she left the event feeling empowered and excited about the journey ahead.
“It was an incredible experience to be surrounded by strong, confident women who lift each other and inspire one another to achieve their dreams. I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with some truly remarkable women. The morning was filled with so much fun, excitement and inspiration.”
