Six injured in two-truck crash

No serious injuries were recorded.

This morning (December 27), six men were injured when two trucks collided at the Elsburg and Heidelberg road intersection, according to ER24.

Spokesperson Russel Meiring said their paramedic service and other services arrived at 09h48 to find one truck on its side and the other was parked a short distance away. Six men were seen walking around.

“Medics assessed the men and found they had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.

“The men were treated and later transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

“Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations,” said Meiring.
