Mathenjwa’s theft and fraud case postponed to February

Sechaba Mathenjwa’s case was postponed to February 28 for further investigations.

The suspended centre manager of Vosloorus Old Age Home, Sechaba Mathenjwa’s case has been postponed to February 28 for further investigations.

Mathenjwa made his sixth appearance at the Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court on November 30 to face 63 counts of theft and 63 counts of fraud.

He was arrested on May 31 and appeared at Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court on June 2, where he was granted R1 000 bail.

The case was postponed for the court to access statements through Section 205.

Mathenjwa’s bail was extended with conditions, as he is not allowed to contact or communicate with workers of VOAH in person or via a third party.
