Boksburg youth bear the burden of unemployment

As the country moves to celebrate National Youth Day, the youth of Boksburg shared their thoughts on youth unemployment.

Komelo Otshudi: Youth unemployment is frustrating since it affects almost everyone because unemployed youth end up doing wrong things in the community such as stealing and being exposed to substances.

Grace Malata: The unemployment problem is devastating. I had no intention of staying at home and doing nothing. I graduated and applied for jobs, but I am still unemployed.

Roan van der Walt: Being unemployed is highly stressful I am saying this because I am a former business owner.

Sifiso Zulu: We keep voting but nothing has been done. The only way to fight this battle is to stand up for ourselves and create jobs.
