Kuselo’s Easter Drive a success

They gave out Easter eggs and teddy bears to 203 children.

Children from Boksburg North and Villa Liza had smiles on their faces when they received teddy bears, stuffed toys and Easter eggs during the Easter drive recently conducted by Kuselo Child and Youth Services.

They gave out Easter eggs and teddy bears to 203 children.

Founder of Kuselo Amanda Coetzee said they want more gifts so that more children will be accommodated.

“Kuselo is not funded by the government and needs all the support to care for children in protective care,” said Coetzee.

As an NPO, the Boksburg North-based group would appreciate it if members of the community donated items and if companies can fund them.

“Covid-19 circumstances has caused us to lose many financial sponsors and day-to-day donors. We appeal to the public to support these beautiful children and help them overcome trauma, giving them the opportunity to be placed in a forever, safe and loving home.”

Kuselo thanked the St Dominic’s School for Girls for the donation of Easter eggs.
