Police call for assistance to help find missing girl

The Boksburg North SAPS needs your help in finding Dorris Kaunda who went missing on November 25.

The Boksburg North police are investigating the disappearance of a Boksburg High School learner, Dorris Kaunda, who went missing on November 25.

According to the police, the 16-year-old girl was last seen when she left the school premises at around 07:20.
She was wearing her school uniform and had a pink backpack with her.

Boksburg North police spokesperson Const Justice Ramaube said the police are following up on leads regarding where the teen might be.

“We have so far received information that she was spotted somewhere in Johannesburg with her boyfriend, but we are still investigating,” said Ramaube.

The girl’s father said they are hoping for her safe return because they have not been coping since her disappearance.
