Are you looking forward to Black Friday?

This year’s Black Friday falls on Friday November 27, but many retailers have indicated that they are going to have special deals available throughout the month

Black Friday is just around the corner and many retailers are bringing you some of the best deals this week, as well as the Christmas special deals and discounts to follow.

Traditionally, on Black Friday consumers expect to see deals for just about everything you could be saving up for; including clothing, food, household appliances, latest household and handheld gadgets, holidays, and all the Christmas gifts they might want to treat themselves (or others) to.

The Advertiser asked a few locals if they are hoping to bag Black Friday deals, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. And the majority of our readers said they are looking forward to the best Black Friday deals and bargains 

 

Dhashni Naidoo, programme manager at FNB Consumer Education, said just because something is labelled cheaper on Black Friday doesn’t always mean you must buy it.

“It’s important for consumers to exercise caution and self-discipline when managing their money over this period, as lack of financial discipline around Black Friday can easily lead to financial woes – especially in these trying times,” she warned.
