Boksburg Child Welfare grateful for donations

Boksburg Child Welfare would also like to invite any community members having interest in the organisation to join as a member

Boksburg Child Welfare would like to express their gratitude towards donors and funders who assisted them during the pandemic.

Vanessa Naidoo-Pillay, director of the local child welfare, said Albany Bakery Germiston delivered bread during all lockdown levels.

Furthermore, the director said the thanks the East Rand Mall Pick n Pay Hyper for donating clothing and toys, POP Warehouse for giving Easter eggs, SACSSP Council for their contributing PPE and the Boksburg Advertiser for their continuous support.

Boksburg Child Welfare renders services to the following areas in Boksburg:

• Reiger Park: 011 075 3214 (Reiger Park, Ramaphosa and Joe Slovo)
• Vosloorus: 011 075 3213 (Mailula Park Extension Three, Mabuya Park Ext 20, Sotho Section Ext One, Vumbuka Section, Zulu Section Ext Seven, 14, 25, 26, Two, Mapleton, Somalia Park, Marimba Gardens Ext Four and Nine)

A community member wanting to report a matter can contact the relevant office via telephone or visit their office if they need to report a matter.

Boksburg Child Welfare would also like to invite any community members having interest in the organisation to join as a member.

Vanessa pointed out that due to the nature of their work and confidentiality obligations towards clients they do not conduct intakes communicated through any social media site.
