The St Francis Care Centre is urging the public to support their charity shop and book nook.

The charity shop, situated at the centre (30 Olivia Road), is open from Monday to Friday from 8am to 3.30pm.

Their book nook, where books are being sold for R10, is open on Wednesdays from 9am to 1pm.

Residents can visit the charity shop to buy items such as ornaments, clothing, toys, furniture and appliances at reasonable prices or drop off second hand goods. Any donations are welcome and would be appreciated.

Shoppers must follow all Covid-19 regulations, including wearing a mask and sanitising.

Tilly Brouwer, centre manager, and Mbali Mthetho, charity shop manager, expressed their gratitude towards members who supported the shop so far.

“The centre is reliant on donations and all money that is raised through the charity shop will go directly towards the sustainability of the centre,” she said.
For more information, contact the centre on 011 894 4151.
