Amapiano artist set to release an album in December

The local artist from Villa Liza East says he would like to collaborate with Kwesta, Kabza De small and DJ Maphorisa in the future

An upcoming amapiano artist from Villa Liza, Sipho Shayi ‘Monochrome’, has released an EP with 10 tracks and it features songs such as Corona and Shanda Katalina.

He is working on other songs which will be featured on his first album, set to be released around December.

The 23-year-old has written a song about the coronavirus to encourage people to stay safe during the pandemic.

He recently shot a music video for one of his songs that will be featured in the upcoming album.

Besides doing music, he is an entrepreneur and a student at Skills Development Centre where he is studying business administration.

“I thank everyone who has been supporting me since I started my music career. I want to be known internationally.”

“Some of the local artists that I would like to work with include MFR Souls, Kwesta, Kabza De small and DJ Maphorisa because they inspire me as an upcoming artist,” Monochrome said.
