#NationalNursesWeek: Support Boksburg Society for the Aged by donating to operational costs

National Nurses Week is observed annually from May 6 to 12, to recognise the crucial role nurses play in the health sector.
The week also serves to celebrate Florence Nightingale birthday on May 12, who was well-known for taking care of the wounded soldiers during the Crimean War.

In the efforts to celebrate the nursing staff, the Boksburg Society For The Aged is running a campaign to appreciate their nurses.
The Society urges the public to make a monetary donation towards covering some of the operational costs due to lockdown as well as purchasing masks, surgical gloves, hand sanitizers for the nursing staff.

To donate, send an email requesting the societies banking details to fundraising@bsfa.co.za.
Alternatively, the following items could be purchased and delivered at the Cosmos Old Age Home in Van Dyk Park after the lockdown.
