Boksburg police have arrested a man who allegedly stabbed his friend to death following an argument in the Boksburg CBD on February 19.
According the Boksburg SAPS spokesperson, Const Ntsako Ledwaba, the deceased, a Congolese man, had visited his friend, the suspect, who stays in one of the flats at Centrepoint on Market Street, before he was brutally killed at about 4pm.
“When the police arrived at the scene they found the killed man lying on the floor in a pool of blood, and his body was covered with a blanket. A big black knife believed to have been used in the crime, was found on the table in the kitchen, and had blood stains,” said Ledwaba.
It’s unclear how many stab wounds the man suffered. The police could only say the man was stabbed in his upper body, and died on the scene.
