The Advertiser is aware of a heavy police presence at the K90 Centre on the corner of Rondebult and North Rand roads.
It is understood that a cross-pavement cash-in-transit heist took place outside the Standard Bank at the centre this morning.
A reporter on the scene reports that shots were fired but no injuries were reported.
It is also understood that the suspects has managed to flee in a white Ford Focus.
Bank customers must also take note that bank at the centre will be closed for the rest of the day.
