CBC invites hockey players to join the club
The date for the beginning of the season, which might change, is March 14 for bothe leagues.
CBC Boksburg is extending an invitation to hockey players who would be interested in joining the club or finding out what the club is all about.
According to a statement from the club, new players would help achieve the club’s planned goals for this year on improving skills, performances as a club and ensuring that players and supporters have fun.
According to the club, last year focused on getting the administration of the club to work in the best possible way to support its players.
The club had a good season last year in both the Southern Gauteng Hockey Association (SGHA) as well as the Eastern Gauteng Hockey Association (EGHA) leagues.
The club currently includes six teams: four men’s teams and two ladies’ teams.
The club’s first and second men’s sides and the ladies’ first side all ply their trades in the SGHA League, while the men’s third and fourth sides and the ladies’ second side play in the EGHA League.
