Easterns Junior Squash honours top performers

In total, 34 awards were made in 15 different categories

Easterns Junior Squash (EJS) recently hosted their annual awards evening dinner at Hoërskool Oosterlig.

The EJS committee was proud to honour its junior squash players at the event for exceptional performance and contributions to the game of squash.

This year the event was attended by school administrators representing three local schools, parents, players and the 2019 EJS committee members.

The chairperson, Grant Robinson, expressed his gratitude for those schools that supported the event and encouraged everyone to promote this great game, especially in the junior schools.

The evening also recognised those that contributed towards the development of squash, including parents, administrators and players. The recently held ‘Battle of the Schools’ tournament was an example of squash development focussed on novice and beginner players.
