Acting on a tip-off, Boksburg SAPS’ Det Sgt Calvin Mpaphuli and Det Const Manqele arrested a man believed to be a drug dealer on October 14.
The pair descended on one of the shacks in Angelo informal settlement, where they found the suspect.
They requested to search the premises and found large amounts of dagga inside a plastic bag, 36 small dagga packets wrapped in newspapers, 57 small packets of nyaope and other drugs wrapped in small plastic bags, apparently ready to be sold.
Police confiscated the man’s illicit substances.
He was scheduled to appear in court this week.
