Boksburg SPCA needs support to host an outreach programme in Vosloorus

The local SPCA will provide free sterilisations, dipping and deworming of pets around that area.

As part of World Rabies Day, the Boksburg SPCA is planning an outreach programme in Vosloorus on September 27.

The Boksburg SPCA staff will be stationed near the Community Clinic at Nyamapanda Street and Zimbabwe Road in Extension 28 from 10am to 2pm.

Boksburg SPCA chairperson Willie du Plessis, said, “We urge the public to donate collars and leashes as some people normally come with ropes, chains and wires during the outreaches.”

Donations of collars or dog food can be dropped off at the Boksburg SPCA or at the venue on the day of the outreach.
