A Toyota Hilux was stolen during a housebreaking that took place around 3am on Tuesday, July 16 in Boksburg North.
According to chief superintendent Wilfred Kgasago, EMPD spokesperson, through information from Tracker the EMPD Equestrian Unit members located the vehicle at 5.30am in Tokoza.
“The stolen white Toyota Hilux was recovered on Khowane Street. It was found abandoned and its interior badly stripped apparently in an effort to locate the tracking unit to avert detection,” said Kgasago.
