Public invited to Insimbi Legacy Projects fund-raiser

The launch will take place this weekend, on July 13 at 10.30am at Checkers Hyper in Boksburg.

Sharon Janse van Rensburg, owner of Divine Be Gracious, is inviting the public to the launch of her uniquely designed Guardian of the Rhino fund-raising tins in support of the Insimbi Legacy Projects.

She said that people can look forward to a fun filled day.

“All the businesses from the centre that is going to support this worthy cause will receive their charity tins during the launch.

“The public will also be able to buy cute things such as T-shirts, key rings and mugs.

“People can meet the team, including Carmela Lattanzi, behind our amazing rhinos. There will be more surprises and children are welcome,” said Sharon.

She said they are giving away raffle tickets at the launch. The public can stand a chance to win an adventure with a cause weekend in August for two people to the value of R4 500.

“Entries are free of charge. Anybody who enters could win this once in a lifetime experience.”

Carmela started the Insimbi Legacy projects to involve the public in the fight against poaching after one of her widely admired rhinos, Insimbi, was killed in 2014.

The adventure with a cause weekend aims at educating and creating awareness through a high-visibility programme, where paying guests can take part in a wide variety of activities, such as rhino monitoring, foot and vehicle patrols, basic bush craft and survival skills, tactical shooting, an obstacle course, team-building activities, dinner around a campfire and aerial patrols.
