The Dawn Park SAPS have arrested a 14-year-old suspect for housebreaking and theft.
Police officers from the Dawn Park SAPS attended a complaint of housebreaking in Dawn Park on January 4.
The suspect allegedly gained entry through a broken window, squeezing himself into the house.
According to Dawn Park SAPS spokesperson, Const Nkemeleng Mabula, the suspect allegedly ascended the ceiling where he started to steal copper cables connecting the geyser.
“When he heard the police, he accidentally fell from the ceiling and was arrested,” Mabula said.
He was found in possession of electrical appliances.
