Keep supporting the Boksburg SPCA cheer fund

There are only four weeks left to donate to the Christmas Cheer Fund in support of the Boksburg SPCA.

The fund, which will run until the end of January, aims to raise money to cater for all the furry friends that need to be fed and supported, especially with the SPCA experiencing an influx of pets over the Christmas period.

These are the latest donations:

• Denel Aeronautics R7 000 (to the Christmas cheer)

• A Conway R200 (blessed Christmas)

• Carol R1 000 (for all cats)

• Mr and Mrs Potgieter R1 000 ( In memory of our beloved Skye)

• W Crompton R1 000 (for all animals)

• Mr Kemper R600 (for all the cats)

• Karlynme R300 (for Bruno to find a good home)

• Charlie R500 (to all animals and those who help them)

• L Swart R100 (for the cats)

• Willie, MaryAnn Du Plessis – R1 000 (for all the animals)

• Sharon and Bill R100 (for Buster and Dino)

• Chantelle, Mark, Gabriel R500 (for mischief and Slinky)

• J van Rooyen R1 000 (for the tortoise)

• Erica R700 (for all the animals)

• David, Paula, Kelsey, Harley Smith R400 (for all those in need)

• Annekie R200 (in memory of my mom Doris Pawmovich)

• Andries R400 (for Jerry)

To be part of the fund, visit or contact the SPCA with your donation, write your name, amount donated and message (optional) in the cheer fund book and keep an eye on the Boksburg Advertiser to see your name.
