Each of the Boksburg police stations has their policing precincts divided into smaller areas known as sectors, and each sector is patrolled by at least two vehicles 24 hours a day.
The sector vehicles are equipped with cellphones which residents can contact in the event of an emergency. Every sector has a sector commander who, as part of their role, regularly meets with the community to share ideas on how to tackle local crime together.
To report any crime or suspicious activity in a specific area, do not hesitate to contact the sector vehicle directly and speak to the on-duty officers.
