A jewellery store has been cordoned off in East Rand Mall this afternoon, Monday, November 12.
Boksburg North SAPS station commander Col Khumbilani Mbatha confirmed that a robbery took place earlier today in the Boksburg shopping hot spot.
The police were still on the scene when the Advertiser arrived.
Police officials and investigators surrounded the jewellery store as investigations have begun.
Details about the incident is still sketchy.
