The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members received a tip off from the members of Reiger Park community about a woman who they suspected was dealing in narcotics.
According to Chief Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago, EMPD spokesperson, following a midday raid at the woman’s place in John Collins Street an arrest was made when the woman was found in possession of 43 pieces of ‘Rock’.
Kgasago said ‘Rock’ is a solid form of the drug khat. T The 24yr old woman was arrested around 12h16 and detained at Reiger Park police station on charges of possession and dealing in illicit substances. She is expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
