Don’t miss out on the fun at Cansa’s Bedazzle Your Bra

This will be the second year the organisation will host the gala evening which serves as the official launch of the organisation’s annual Relay for Life Eastern Gauteng event to take place on March 9 and 10 next year at Boksburg Stadium.

Cansa East Rand will hold a fund-raising gala evening in aid of the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

The organisation urged the community to support the event, Bedazzle Your Bra, to be held on October 6 at the Birchwood Hotel’s Phomolong Conference Centre in Boksburg.

The event will be graced by local high-profile personalities including singers, rugby players and cancer survivors.

Rugby players will be auction off a signed rugby boot to show that they are “giving cancer the boot”.

Dazelle Venter from Boksburg-based Be-Dazzled created the dazzling bras for the event and will showcase her one-of-a-kind dresses.

Live music performances will be provided by Timothy Moloi with his opera voice.

Upcoming star, Zehan Venter (7) is set to mesmerise the crowd.

African dancers will showcase their talents and Goedehoop Primary Marimba Band will entertain the crowd with their African vibes.

“We are thankful to Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre for hosting this event again this year. Their five-star service and attention to detail will leave our guests gasping for more,” said event chairperson Sonia Pretorius.

Nando’s, Macsteel and 600SA will be some of the companies that will support the evening.

The organisation raised over R50 000 at last year’s event and hope to surpass it this year. Organisers invited people to book as limited tables are available.
