A gang of up to three thieves left a domestic worker absolutely petrified during a broad daylight break-in on May 3 in Freeway Park.
According to the Boksburg police, the domestic worker was in one of the bedrooms at about noon when she noticed a stranger opening the door, pointing a steel rod at her.
Two more men joined him, dragging the woman into the passage where the thugs repeatedly battered her against the wall, demanding money. Two of them then ransacked the house, before fleeing in a Toyota Tazz.
The domestic worker’s husband, who doesn’t want to be named, said the break-in had left his wife absolutely terrified.
“Her bruises and swelling have now healed and she is fine,” said the husband.
