Members of the Boksburg North SAPS paid a visit to the Witfield Methodist Church group on May 3.
The SAPS provided the 15 members of the group with emergency numbers, safety tips to keep in mind and friendly faces to remind the community members that they do not stand alone.
Capt Juanita Coetzer of the station reiterated the importance of driving with a seat belt, taking care of your belongings when shopping and to always be vigilant and aware when you draw money.
Coetzer made it very clear that the aged have rights and should never allow anyone to mistreat or abuse them.
