Welcome donation for underprivileged children

The Peermont Children’s Trust, one of Peermont Global’s flagship corporate social investment programmes, has once again given food parcels to less fortunate learners from the disadvantaged areas that fall in the Emperors Palace catchment area.

In total nearly 650 youngsters who attend the seven aftercare centres supported by the Trust in Ekurhuleni, benefitted from this handover prior to the start of the December school holidays.

Recently, the Trust administrator Thomas Masango visited the Nageng Primary Aftercare Centre, Fortune Kunene Primary and Jongimfundo Primary Aftercare Centre in Vosloorus.

Learners who attend the aftercare centres that are supported by the Trust also receive new uniforms for the start of each school year, are treated to a Christmas party annually and benefit from a feeding scheme and supervised aftercare during the school term.
