Many hands help make fund-raiser a success

Scores of people supported the Betlehem Helping Hand fund-raising event held at the Van Dyk Park Shopping Centre recently.

Betlehem Helping Hand is a non-profit organisation in Van Dyk Park which feeds about 150 needy people in the area.

A total of R2 000 was raised during the charity event.

Exhibitors showcased their work.

One of the performers on the day was Danie van der Westhuizen.

Attendees brought along non-perishable food and cash donations were also welcomed.

HomeCorp Boksburg was the main sponsor of the event as they donated non-perishable food worth R3 000.

Live entertainment was provided by Maritza and Chrissie, Danie van der Westhuizen, Hackey Louw, Linda Oosthuizen, Denise Lourens, Johan Britz, Andries Blignaut, Saskia Boshoff and JP Country Boy.
