Help St Francis to enjoy a joyous Christmas

Christmas is around the corner and non-profitable organisations depend on the community to make this time of the year just as special.

Below is the St Francis Care Centre Christmas wish list, however, any item will be appreciated.

Daily requirements: Tea, sugar, tinned foods, beans, pilchards, brown onion soup powder, jam, peanut butter, milk, margarine, mayonnaise, eggs, oil, washing powder, Jik, and garbage bags.

Rainbow cottage: Baby formula (Lactogen number 2 and 3), Vaseline, aqueous cream, baby wet wipes, tissues, children’s nappies (3 and 4), school back-packs and summer shorts and T-shirts.

Adult IPU (in patient unit) requirements: Adult nappies (large and extra-large), disposable aprons, gloves (medium), masks and linen savers, and ‘cellular’ blankets for hospital beds.

General needs: Standard bed pillows for children’s and adult units, round table clothes (size 220cm) and screens for kitchen windows/doors. Sponsor needed to install cable TV antenna for IPU, as well as for vehicle maintenance.

Financial assistance is needed and appreciated (banking details issued on request).

• Second-hand clothing and household goods are required to stock the St Francis Care Centre charity store.
