This is according to Capt Juanita Coetzer from the Boksburg North SAPS.
“Boksburg North sector vehicle received a complaint regarding a shooting at the Soul Shack just before 7pm. Upon arrival they found people running out of the premises and other driving out,” said Coetzer.
“They found a man laying on the floor. The medical personnel arrived on the scene and declared the male deceased.”
She confirmed the man who fired at the deceased is a policeman from another station.
“Both firearms were seized for evidence purposes. Allegedly two other people were also injured and taken to hospital.
“IPID was on scene and will take over the investigation. No further information is available until the investigation has been finalized.”
