Carnival launches its first-ever family market

Carnival City is launching its first-ever Carnival Market on September 3.

The market, at the outdoor Pocket Park area, will feature stalls and exhibits of handcrafted goods, clothing, artisanal drinks and other products on the first Sunday of every month from 10am. Entrance is free.

The family-styled Carnival Market boasts something for everyone, with live entertainment by well-known singer and SAMA nominee Pieter Koen and singer and Getroud Met Rugby actress Anlia van Rensburg, on opening day.

There will be a beer garden, free ice-skating, a mini carousel, bumper cars, children’s playground, face painting, artisanal stalls and delicious food.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of stalls which will include craft beer, paella, prawns, calamari, biryanis, chilli sauces, pestos, artisanal cheeses, bespoke crochet items, cupcakes, hand bags, African crafts and much more.

People and businesses keen to showcase their products at the Carnival Market can contact info@mycarnivalmarket.com for more information.

Stalls may vary from event to event.
