Boksburg North SAPS ‘cleans up’ First Street

Capt Phineas Mandlala and Sgt Nick Muller along with their team made a number of arrests during a Boksburg North SAPS operation clean-up in First Street, Boksburg North, on June 23.

All role players were present: from SAPS, EMPD, Home Affairs and Health.

They made the following arrests:

• Seven undocumented persons, of which one produced a false permit and a docket was registered for that.

• Two arrested for theft.

• Three arrested for the possession of illegal substances.

Seven undocumented persons, of which one produced a false permit, have been arrested during a Boksburg North SAPS operation clean-up in First Street.

Seizures during the operation were six illegal substances and liquor was found and abandoned.

According to the Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Capt Juanita Coetzer, during the week one suspect was arrested for firing his firearm at people.

“The firearm was confiscated and the suspect was under the influence of alcohol as well,” said Coetzer.
