The suspect, driving in a red BMW, overpowered the woman who was walking along Commissioner Street in Boksburg CBD.
She was then dragged into his car at about 6.30pm before driving with her to the veld near the Boksburg Lake where he raped her.
* Meanwhile the Reiger Park police arrested two men for recently allegedly stabbing 34-year-old Simon Nkosi to death in Ulan informal settlement.
Nkosi was o June 16 driving along the informal settlement when he noticed people standing in the middle of the street, blocking his way.
He reportedly got out of the car and asked them to step aside, but the pair allegedly refused to do so and an argument apparently ensued.
“The argument ended with the suspects taking out knives and stabbing Nkosi multiple times. He died instant, ” said Reiger Park SAPS station commander Col Else Mashinini.
The suspects appeared in court on June 19 and one of them was remanded in custody until further notice.
The other suspect was released into his parents’ care as he is underage.-@FanieFLK
