The fact that many ANC in senior government have flip-flopped from questioning Zuma’s cabinet reshuffle without consultation to fully supporting and defending it!
They have even welcomed the downgrades to junk status! Are the eyes opened and the light shining through the government created fog?
“The people shall govern” is a great slogan, but that’s all it is.
What is very important is that the responses of the government to this sorry saga must be a wake-up call to the vacillators who have always given the ANC the benefit of the doubt.
Recent examples being a Gupta plane landing at Waterkloof Air Force Base, the sacking of finance minister Nene and appointing a lackey and the obscene expenditure of tax-payers money on Nkandla and Zuma’s brushing this aside until the Concourt ordered him to pay a pittance back to treasury, .
Through all of these, can I say misdemeanors, the government ducked and dived in support of Zuma. What can we say about the pathetic support of Zuma in the votes of no confidence?
The blind and deaf continue believing the current government will lead them to greatness.
The recent protests demanding Zuma must go have at last shown people have had enough! Initially voicing concern about the reshuffle, MPs have now buckled.
In the meantime, Gwede Mantashe comes to the fore mumbling incomprehensibly about the ANC collective.
Fantastic news! Can we at last be hopeful that the slogan ‘Zuma must go’ be replaced with the ‘ANC must go’?
The latter is the real problem. The high-ranking cadres’ constant support has allowed the country to collapse to this current junk status. Don’t worry, the real pain is still to come.
It’s guaranteed that the government will make many more terrible decisions to try and correct previous terrible decisions and the country will suffer accordingly.
Hopefully, the ones suffering from the terrible afflictions of being blind and deaf will be miraculously cured and support.
