Parkrand Primary family day unites parents, staff

Parkrand Primary School recently hosted a family fun day to raise funds for the school and for parents and staff members to get to know each other.

The day consisted of a fun walk, where participants had to walk around the area of the school, interacting with one another.

The walk started at 8am and the cut-off time was 9.30am, with participants being awarded gold medals.

Organiser of the event Reza Postma said the fun day turned out well, as there was a steady influx of people and great outdoor games in which the children were engaged.

The school will use the funds raised for maintenance, repairs and special projects.
