Sexual abuse victim has no sympathy for Hewitt’s fate
Hewitt has 72 hours to hand himself over to the authorities to begin serving his sentence.
Hewitt, a convicted rapist, was granted leave to appeal his sentence in the North Gauteng High Court on June 19, last year.

Hewitt was sentenced to eight years each for raping of Benoni resident Suellen Sheehan and Theresa Tolken in the 1980s.
The judge also gave him two years for sexually assaulting a third woman in the 1990s.
