See magic unfold at the Little Theatre this winter

Live Arts Little Theatre (LALT) will be presenting in June and July a number of spectacular events.

There truly is something for everyone in this term’s line-up – everything from drama, to cabaret, to children’s theatre.

q (the) Last Supper: June 16 and 18

Set between the two World Wars, (the) Last Supper tells the story of a tragically abused boy’s fatally ironic, yet spectacular triumph over the cold shoulder of an unsympathetic world.

Don’t miss this powerful artwork with Teri Scott and Ignatius van Heerden, directed by award-winning Lihan Pretorius, with script by Weslee Swain Lauder.

* Slumber Party: June 24

LALT is once again hosting its annual ‘kids only’ sleepover with a 12-hour fun-filled stay-awake marathon.

Why get a babysitter when LALT can provide hours of non-stop dramatic entertainment?

From 6pm – 6am the theatre will be supervising its drama stars with some of the most fun activities, including movies, graffiti, treasure hunts and drama games.

Dinner and lots of snacks are included.

* Rooikappie: July 7 to 9

Wolfgang the Wolf is back in town and is almost certain to start with his mischief again.

This naughty wolf does like to cause trouble wherever he goes, after all. Will Little Red Riding Hood make it to her Granny’s house without any trouble?
