Help police identify body struck by vehicle, solve murder cases

Boksburg police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a man who was killed in a hit-and-run in Parkrand.

The man’s body was found along Jubilee Road, next to Parkland Estate, on August 21, 2015.

The body is of a tall black man in his 30s, and was clad in a brown hooded jacket, black trousers and black shoes.

The body is at the Germiston Government Mortuary awaiting identification.

The investigating officer, Sgt Calvin Mphaphuli appeals to anyone who can assist him in identifying the body to contact him on 071 422 7417/ 011 841 6858.

* Meanwhile the Reiger Park police are also asking for the public’s help to solve the murder of Jerome Harris (36), who died at Tambo Memorial Hospital two days after he was shot in Oxford Street, Reiger Park, on Christmas Day, 2015.

The investigating officer, Det W/O Manie du Preez appeals to witnesses to the incident to come forward with information that can assist him to track down the gunman.

*The Reiger Park police are also appealing for help to solve the murder of a 27-year-old Lesotho national, identified as Leboea Tlelima.

Tlelima died after he was stabbed several times in the upper body in Joe Slovo Informal Settlements on Saturday morning, March 26, this year.
