The trio appeared in the Boksburg Magistrates Court on Thursday, April 7.
Their case was postponed to April 14 for further investigation, and the accused were remanded in custody.
According to a police report, the men stormed the store and held staff and customers at gunpoint, before escaping with several new cellphones and an undisclosed amount of money.
With the assistance of car guards, a police helicopter and back-up vehicles from Flying Squad, EMPD and local police stations, officers managed to arrests three of the four suspects within minutes.
The getaway vehicle, described as a greyish double-cab Nissan bakkie, was confiscated.
However, the fourth suspect in the robbery, believed to be the driver of the vehicle, remains at large.
Their loot, including new cellphones and money, was recovered.
Police also found two firearms and a toy gun in the possession of the suspects.
The suspects, believed to be from KwaZulu-Natal, are facing a charge of business robbery, and more charges may be added. -@FanieFLK
